Turtles and their self art of Unsturtling

Whether you mean “un-turtling” as the metaphorical practice of shedding a defensive mindset or simply the literal art of helping a flipped turtle right itself, the core philosophy remains the same: returning a creature or your mind to its natural, steady state. Unless you are the neighbor next door who wrestled this 300lb 4 foot long prehistoric monster into a wheelbarrow and took her up the street? He thought he was helping and he had kids to protect.

We live for our resident monster gal to crawl up from the swamp and hand select which lawn to lay her eggs in. After she completes her mission she crawls back down the road into wherever it is she calls home.

According to our resident turtle expert she is close to 100 years old and still going strong trying to bring a new generation of snapping turtles 🐢 to live the 200 years of good snapping life.

I took an informal poll with my neighbors but this year our 300lb turtle did not waddle her way up the street to perform her annual turtle egg laying duties.

Wait you don’t think our turtle decided to take her act to another street?

On the other side of Massachusetts an angry otter was flipping turtles…

Why was the otter so angry you ask? Good question because almost every turtle species is protected by laws or their shell… unless they get flipped off or over.
