TODAY is June 30, 2025 – I wrote what is below a few months ago…. Guess who was finally charged in the murder of his wife? He buried her someplace, probably on their home in Salida, Colorado and moved her body a second time to an area called “the bone yard’. Suzanne deserved better in life? It also appears HER two daughters are sticking with their father Barry Morphew just as the Manson girls stayed faithful to Charles Manson. In fact nobody has claimed Suzanne’s body from the morgue. Disrespectful behavior? Since each of the daughters are over age 18 they could claim and give their mother a proper funeral? They did hold a gathering after the body was found. I was by invitation only.

It should also be noted I have a terrible sense of humor. My words as written have a distinct intended witty sarcasm. However any murder especially this murder, should not be taken lightly. It was once prosecuted. Unfortunately there was a slight mishap in the prosecutor’s office causing charges to be dropped as the trial was about to start. It is my hope and that of many more to see this case prosecuted with the alleged murderer found guilty of all charges.
This is the landing page for all post regarding Suzanne Morphew reported missing on Mother’s Day 2020. Her body was found September 2023. Oddly (or not allegedly) the cause of death ruled “homicide by unspecified means in the setting of butorphanol, azaperone, and metetomide intoxication.” The three intoxicants are commonly used as a compounded injectable chemical immobilizer for wildlife. Out of coincidence, Suzanne‘s husband Barry Lee Morphew, was known to have used similar substances in the deer farm he once owned prior to moving to Colorado. allegedly. Mr Morphew also coincidentally as described in police reports and according to his own admission. Also confirmed by the pattern of his footsteps as found on his Apply Watch. Barry stated he was hunting chipmunks in his yard the day she went missing. He also stated he did not have any knowledge of where his wife was after the finished a shared bowl of vegetable soup shortly before Mr Morphew last saw Mrs Morphew.
The case has never been prosecuted however Mr. Morphew was arrested but the case was dismissed. It is the hope of the many followers of the case to see an arrest with a successful completion through the legal system. the biggest question is;
Did the husband murder his wife in a jealous rage after he discovered she was planning to leave him?
Was the murder complete after planning by the jilted husband?
Was Suzanne’s murder a case where she accidentally injected herself after discovering her husband was paying too much attention to the chipmunk population in the front yard?
Do the prosecutors have it all wrong and the murder was committed by a still unknown third party?
(Allegedly) Was it a chipmunk angry at being shot?
